The upheaval of 2020 reshaped how we live, work, and connect, pushing me to seek deeper meaning in my personal and professional life. Joining Galderma soon after was a turning point, sparking my passion for Life Sciences, MedTech, and Biotech—industries guided by sustainability, social responsibility, and advancing human health. Collaborating with leaders in these fields, I witnessed the transformative power of a well-placed hire to shape not just organisations but entire industries and communities.
Inspired by these experiences, I founded The Aesthetics Embassy to address a gap in the Aesthetics market. Simultaneously, I expanded into Cyber Tech Sourcing, exploring the immense potential of AI to revolutionise industries. Yet, even with these successes, I felt something was missing—a deeper sense of purpose.
A Personal and Professional Turning Point
Late last year, I lost my father. Having already faced the loss of my mother as a teenager, this grief felt profoundly different— raw, confronting, and life-changing. It forced me to stop living on autopilot and to step back, reflect, and recalibrate.
This messy yet transformative process clarified what I was truly seeking: not just professional growth, but purpose. Emerging from this period, I gained a renewed sense of gratitude, resilience, and meaning.
Finding Purpose Through Connection
Earlier this year, I joined NPAworldwide, an extraordinary global network of recruiters united by shared values and a shared commitment to humanity in hiring. Many of us were trained by the elite global firms, but what truly unites us is our shared values of placing people - not just cvs-at the heart of recruitment.
A recent conversation with an old client whose insight I deeply value became the a catalyst for change He helped me recognise my unique ability: connecting elite, hard-to-find talent with roles that reflect their values, aspirations, and expertise.
It’s in these connections—where talent meets purpose—that transformation happens.
In this moment I gained clarity. What I was seeking professionally was a sense of purpose.
Purpose in the industries I work in, the companies I partner with and the candidates I place.
